Palo Duro Presbytery

NOROC is the "backyard mission" of Palo Duro Presbytery! PDP, a presbytery of the Presbyterian Church (USA), is comprised of 39 churches in West Texas. After many years of partnership in ministry, these churches adopted NOROC as one of their official mission partners in October 2022. Palo Duro created a validated ministry position for a called mission co-worker.

First Central Presbyterian Church

FCPC is a Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation in Abilene, TX. NOROC's American founders, Carolyn and Fred White are long-time members of FCPC. When the White's first had the idea to start a non-profit, FCPC was there to help encourage and fund the new organization.

Presbyterian Women

PW is a Presbyterian Church (USA) affiliated organization that has granted NOROC funds for special projects. PW helped NOROC purchase and build the property at Casa Noua and the Louise Covington Learning Center.

The Synod of the Sun

​On February 24, 2025, the Synod of the Sun, Presbyterian Church (USA)voted to approve a covenant partnership with NOROC (New Opportunities for Romanian Orphaned Children). We are grateful to the Synod and excited to see how God will use this partnership to serve the orphaned, neglected, abandoned, and abused children of Tulcea County, Romania. Another important mission partner, Palo Duro Presbytery, supported us through this covenant process.
